Nikolai Dammholz
Partner
As a Partner at Fir Ventures, Nikolai brings extensive experience in venture capital to the firm, with a focus on life sciences technology and B2B SaaS companies. Nikolai joined the firm in 2012 and has a track record of successful investments, such as Hera and Volta. She graduated from Harvard with a double major in Biochemistry and Spanish. In his free time, Nikolai enjoys trying new sports and experimenting with new baking recipes.
Parmis Rouzbahani
Associate Partner
With expert experience in management consulting and strategy work, Parmis brings innovate and successful solutions to Fir Ventures. As an English and Economics double major from Columbia, Parmis is able to leverage her humanities background to provide another perspective on investment and returns. Outside of work, she enjoys painting and reading modernist works.
Sebastien Brown
VP of Finance
With a background in high-risk investments, Anik is a VC veteran. Sebastien served as the financial
advisor of JPI Equity for 12 years. Anik received his Bachelor's in Mathematics from Stanford University
and completed his Master's in Applied Mathematics from New College of Oxford University where he was a Rhodes Scholar.
Ahmed Aly
VP of Technology
With a background in SaaS and systems engineering, Ahmed is experienced in growing Tech companies. He has served as Senior Product Manager at Google for 14 years. Ahmed received his Bachelor's in Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology
and completed his Ph.D. in Solid State Physics from the All Souls College of Oxford University.
Maya Sheridan
VP of Strategy
Having started as a strategy consultant at IBM, Maya's expertise ranges from technology to healthcare. She has acted as an investment manager in the popular hedge fund Kelvin Capital for 8 years. Away from work, she plays bridge competitively to hone her analytical skills
Tina Zhang
VP of Global Talent Acquisition
Having been the Director of Talent Acquisition at Horizon, Senior Director of Engineering recruiting at Mind Artificial, as well as leading talent acquisition at numerous technology startups, Tina has the perfect background in sourcing the right talent for a fast growing technology company. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Williams College, and later obtained her J.D. from Georgetown Law.
